The Tyne and Wear Freight Partnership have developed a number of tailored maps for key freight destinations in the area. The maps show a detailed road network around the destinations, identify preferred routes for freight traffic and include directions from the strategic road network. Key buildings at each destination are also highlighted and loading areas identified, where applicable. Maps have been developed in conjunction with the respective companies and local authorities. The Partnership encourages companies to circulate the maps to their suppliers and also feedback any suggested changes. Every care has been taken to prepare these maps on the basis of the most accurate information available at the time. The Tyne and Wear Local Transport Plan team and the Freight Partnership disclaim all responsibility and accept no liability for any accident, loss or damage as a result of persons using the maps.
